New to the forums

Hey all! I'm new to the forum here so just wanted to fire out my first post.
Started out doing an 8-hour detail on my car about a month ago and decided to start modifying the whole car to make it "mine."

I"ll post specs and pics of the car later. It's got some parts in questionable condition but I'm working on it.
This $6.75 an hour job doesn't help much!

Well anyways, just wanted to give a shout and hope to gain much from the community.

Until later,

Lived here for about a year but don't travel the highways very often.
The closest relative distance I can give is about 15 minutes from Six Flags and University of TX @ SA. About 30 minutes East of Sea World.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Ya I'm afraid of the cars doin' 70 because they're slowing me down from a cozy 90. Nah, I travel the highways every day, just never go very far on them. To school & back.

Again thanks for the warm welcomes.

Working at Wendy's right now. Should be getting a $.50 raise soon. That'll be a little boost. I could take another job for $9 but I enjoy the flexability of my job way toooo much. I want this weekend off? I got it :-)

Anyways... I'm excited now! I just got my carbon fiber adhesive & claner for the headlamps so I can start working on my car again! I don't even want to sleep. Been looking forever for some Euro headlights for my car. I found some for a 97 Honda Accord that look as though they would fit but I'm skeptical. I'll just keep searching. If you all have any input lemme know! Thanks--

All kindsa junk

Working at the Wendy's the new Wendy's on Blanco & 1604. I could try for a hookup of the managers don't ride my ass :-P. They're pretty cool though.

Customs for the headlights? Guess I'll start looking into that and see who I can find to help me out. If you all have any input my ears are wide open.

The carbon fiber job turned out crappy for the shift knob. (Not easy to fit around all the curves :-/) But I'm going for my second try tonight! Looks great on everything else tho. Sorry no pics. I'll snag a pic of my CL and throw it up as soon as the rest of my items come in. The bumper is messed up so you all will just have to bare it until I can get a new one

All my mods are minor interior/exterior for a little extra umph, but here they are
Items received and installed:
Hyper white bulbs: Glove box, trunk, doors, dome light, license plate, corner lamps.
*Brand new dome & reading light covers 'cuz the old was scratched.
Dark blue bulbs: Reading lights, corner lights in turn signal housing.
6100K bulbs: 9005 High beams and 9006 Low beams.
Chrome bulbs (flash amber): Turn signals.
*As obvious, these are for the euro housings.
Black Acura symbol embroidered cargo mat
Moonroof wind visor (Old one busted off when some jerk ran me off the road)

Items on the way:
Chrome acura license plate frame.
Ground wiring kit.
Carbon Fiber Acura emblem.
New car alarm (The old horn busted when my car dropped in a ditch onto a raised curb).
Chrome (A) Acura emblems with carbon fiber backdrop.
Chrome wheel inserts.

For those interested the below are the ebay item #s:
License plate frame: 7926263514
Ground wires: 7926348647
Headlight bulbs: 7926186451
Carbon fiber emblems: 7926185920 2491774050
Alarm: 7925929891
Moonroof visor: 7911075528
Wheel inserts: 7918368043
168 Wedge bulbs: 7924017938 7924101747
Cargo mat: 7921553629
DE3021/3022 bulbs: 7924243020 7923406276
Euro turn signal housing: 7924356370

Sorry so long and sorry no pics!

P.S. My favorite Wendy's sandwich of all time was the Spicy chicken sandwich, 2 slices of cheese, 4 strips of bacon, 4 red onions, a slice of romaine lettuce and some cheddar mushroom sauce to top it off! Sold a million of'em!
