New to the Forum with questions
New to the Site; I have owned the 1997 CL 3.0 since 2002 but was my wife’s, but now my wife has a 2004 MDX but we did not trade in the CL. So, it was decision time for me, keep my mint “98” Sebring which I have loved (but required a lot of maintenance, typical for a Mopar) or sale it and keep the CL because it’s funnier to drive and will probably out live the Chrysler, but my wife has door dinged the crap out of it (I do plan on getting that fixed). So I went with the CL.
Since I have now given ya’ll my life history I’ve got a few questions like most newbie’s. I’ve noticed for a while that body kits are slim pick’ens for our cars, but I do like the Wing West front skirt but unfortunately they have not gotten around to making the sides and rear skirt to match. So I was wondering if there are other kits for other cars that fit our cars like for a 94-97 Accord, 98-whatever Civic, Prelude or even kits for a second Gen CL. The side and rear skirts for a Civic and an Accord look like they may fit, but I doubting that skirts for a second gen. CL or the Prelude will fit. Has anyone fooled around in this area?
Also, who about performance parts, I thinking that the first gen. 3.0 is a lot like the Avenger Sebring that not much is made for them and less so for the V6, but if you have the 4 cylinder (420a, same engine as the Eclipse) your able to use parts made for the Eclipse. Like any engine components, intake and header and even the cat-back but it has to be lengthed. So, do parts for a V6 Civic, Accord or a J32a1 second gen. CL fit our cars: headers, intake or cat-back? Just trying to learn a little about the CL’s and modification routes I can take.

A Great place to start would be the nOOb guide that's in bold at the top of the threads.

Suspension parts for your car are 94-97 accord
Engine parts for your 3.0 are 98-02 accord v6 parts
Also please read the n00b guide, has lots of useful info

Hey, another question; has anybody ever black out the chrome side window molding to take away some of the luxury look and give it a more sporty look. I'm debating it and am trying to figure out if covering it with Vinyl or painting it would be the best way to go.

And dynamat is totally worth it. I recommend the spray foam myself, doesn't add too much weight but our cars are slow and it beats rattles. I'm pumpin 1200 watts rms right now and my car doesn't have a single rattle
I did the whole trunk, trunk lid, wing, rear deck, and door panels. Next will be the underbody of the car

We should just accept the fact that we spent all that time on it for nothing

Dynamat the underbody?
Damn, why not just use rubberized undercoating? Doesn't weigh as much, it's spray on, doesn't cost as much and still works to the same concept. Might not work as well as Dynamat, but it sure as heck would be a good alternative...
