hey guys i think im gonna sell my 97 3.0 cl slowmatic. im lookin for a good reliable car under 13-14k that is pretty snappy so i can mod it. i was thinking of a newer generation gti so i can drop a chip in it. nothing special or too expensive. what do u guys think?

 

GTI you will spend too much, if you only want to spend that much get a stang, they have power and are about your price range with the GT

 

dude.. ive seen a lot of people in seattle getting '02 mitsubishi mirages for around 6 grand.. then the put turbo charger, EVO V bodykit, and it only probably at most comes to around $10,000 ... fast, reliable, leather, 5spd, did i mention.. u could get a '02 mirage with 11K miles for 6 grand..

try auto trader in your neigborhood..

the only bad side.. is that mirages are pretty weak.. stock SL is 1.8L 111HP...
