its not a cooler its a condenser.

60795 005 1 PIPE, CONDENSER 24.15 20.53 Qty:
www.acuraautomotiveparts.org they have it here. or just go to the dealer.. its 20$ but its gonna cost around 200$ to change it.. cause your supposed to change your drier (#7).. even if you dont its still got to be evaped (all air sucked out under pressure, and recharged under pressure. a recharge kit will not work long. (maybee 1 week) and you could destroy your compresser. and you need to change out the pag oil in the drier. but if you replace the line and take it to someone with the evap machine they should hook you up.

Ah, cool air. Yes, don't just open that up. You need to evacuate the system with a vacume pump. I'm not a tree-hugger though it would be bad for the plannet... but you don't want moisture getting into that system. It will destroy the compressor, and that is much more costly than the a/c service.
my car was a salvage from a flood.... it looks like it floated into something. it had lower rad support damage and a cracked rad. and that pipe you see is mangled. there was actually a crack where the pipe meets the container, and when i took it apart, it broke in two.
im a tree hugger myself... bit of a green thumb.... im sure there wasnt any gas left in there ... it basically blew hot.

air in they system means moisture. usually you can get the moisture out of the system with an evac, which youll need to do when you replace the line. dont run the compressor with moisture in the system. matter of fact you might want to check the orifice tube, its a little filter that goes in line and atomises the freon so it gets cold. if you take that off and see alot of black soot type stuff thats bad news. (its called black death) which means pump failure.... i just looked at the diagram above and i dont see an orifice tube.. eather way when you have the system evaced mention the open line to the dude and im sure he'd know where to look for the orifice tube, there is another name for it too, but i forgot what its called.
