do you have a pic of the car without tint? i think your best bet is to take that pic in to court and show them the car without tint. And tell them you took it off. Should work, til u get pulled over again for illegal tint. then ur FUCKED

my receipt says "35% all around" when the back is actually 20%
i took it into the police station and told the old cop that I was at the airport and the dude couldnt tell if i had legal tint, asked me if i had my receipt on me and i didnt, and wrote me the ticket and told me to bring in my receipt saying it's 35% and they would sign it off. told him i was doing just that and he signed it off.

 

We're in California. You can't have ANY tint on the front windows.

 

thats some BS. . . I think here in Texas things like SUVs cant have tinted fronts, the sedans and coupes of the road i think are exempt from that rule. . . atleast the coupes are that im sure of

Cali is a pretty hot place and theyre saying NO tint on the fronts. . . fuckin california. . . makes me proud to be a texan sometimes. . .

I swear california sucks for the tuners, but they still do it, back in Seattle it was a bit tough on um, but not really. . . here in Texas they really could give less of a shit

I swear one night at a meet I was at some cops came by, just one car, took a look around and then told a bunch of us "Look we know youre out to race, we know, we did the same shit back then, thing is we dont care, just dont wreck". . . it was the funniest shit ever

 

Maybe in Southlake, But my tint was too dark on the sides (2%). Yes, they tested it with this little device and Yes, he ticketed me.

 

in the smaller areas of the DFW they generally dont care too much, if you go into Dallas they start to care, ive never had or heard any problems with the tint stuff out towards Ft. Worth. . . the dallas area counties are pretty bad out there with just all sorts. . . the area im in (Tarrant County) is generally lax about most of the small shit, theyll get you for speeding quicker than you can say shit. . . but for front plates, tints and all that, they really dont waste their time


and I have heard that you guys out further south have it rough. . . ive heard Houston and that atrea ifs pretty bad, ive had cousins in San ANtonio like you, and they seem to used to complain about the cops alot, but theyve since migrated to DFW or Houston, so I dont hear much from them about that shit

My buddy at UT says he has issues all the time with cops when he's driving around down there, but when he comes back up here during breaks the cops leave him alone.
