Need help fast!

I was messing with my throttle body and after I put it back on I have this irregular idle. When I start my car it goes from 2k RPM to 1k, then back to 2k and it keeps doing this. WTF is wrong with my car??? Is it the map sensor on top? There's also another sensor towards the back, could I have screwed that up? What sensor is that?

on the bottom of the throttle body there is a little rectangle metal piece that has 2-3 bolts holding onto it and coolant runs through it when you take it off there is a plastic washer looking deal and you have to use 2 flat head screw drives and spin it clockwise...........

only attempt to do this after you make sure alll your vaccuum lines are hooked up correctrly though

Just check all of your vacume lines... and make sure your harness leads are all connected. Then take the more drastic measures. MAP, TPS, IAC, BARO... Those are the sensors to be most aware of in the area of the throttle body.

Thanks Shannon!!!

I went back and took everything apart. I checked to see if there were any vacuum lines unplugged. I put even more coolant in. I dissconnected the battery to get rid of the check engine light. Then I put everything back together and started the car and it ran fine. I didn't change anything... Was it cause it was low on coolant???

low coolant means the problem came from there being none in the iacv.. Idle Air Control Valve. also the primairy coolant temp sensor (the one with more than one wire) can make your idle irratic usually JUST really low or really high. glad to see you got it runnin pimp..

you know sometimes it depends on what sensors you disconnect and in what manner
iv disconnected sensors and there have been instances that engine light came on telling me all this shit is malfunctioning. after i reset the battery everything is fine.
