need to get this project off the ground/foglight wiring help NEEDED

So ive been hoarding parts for this project for over three years and im so lost. Ive read probably every thread on this site about first gen foglights, and i still dont know what im doing I understand the first gens are prewired and thats where my problems begin. I have yet to find the harness along the firewall that is supposed to have an open connector. I still dont know which engine bay harness to use as well. I have a harness from a 93 civic hatch that seems very simple and I also have a more complicated 94-97 accord "B" harness. For those of you with oem fogs....What does the exterior harness look like?(relay, direct connection to battery, ground) Anyone with info I'd really appreciate it since I am also unable to find a working link to a acura cl installation guide.

Good question. I need to know this too. I got the fogs, just nothing else. My car is a '97 so apparently it is not prewired for it. There is a wrecking yard that has a white CL that I am going to look at saturday. I want to take the fog wiring if it has it. I dont even know what it looks like but it should end up near where the foglights mount on the bumper if is really there. bRunCL, is your CL a '97?

i have a 99 2.3, but from my understanding the 97-99 are all partially prewired. The connection should be attached to a bigger harness along the firewall.Im thinking there should be some kind of sub harness to extend the connection from the firewall to the lights.

Man, I cant remember if my origional foglight kit came with a sub harness. I think it did, and it pluged into a connector on the firewall sapposidly. There is a blank with a plug & harness under it on my '97 center console. Isnt this where the foglight switch should go on a '97?
Is there a plug & harness behind the blank in your "99 bRunCL?

I believe that's for the heated seats, do you have another wire harness connected on the other side?

I have traced those under the blanks on my 97 and one side goes under the drivers seat and the other goes under the passenger seat so I agree they are probably for heated seats. I have no idea where the fog light switch should be but blackack should know since his came with them from the factory

well couldn't edit my post so figured I would put it here. I remembered I didn't trace the passenger side, just figured it went to the passenger side since the other went to the driver side and they looked alike. Sorry for the misinformation above

I have a plug and play harness behind my blank knock out plate on the opposite side of the hazzard button (99 2.3cl) I installed the switch a year ago and it lights up like it should if i press it so its definitely connected to somekind of partial fog harness. Im goin to post up some pictures tomorrow of two possible engine bay harnesses I may try to use.

Here are the two engine bay harnesses im considering using. The first is from a 93 civic hatch. It has two connections to the actual lights(one ripped off), a ground, and a connection to the firewall. The next is from a 94-97 accord. IMO this one has too many connections and will not work with the cl. The main thing im trying to figure out now is what kind of connector is located on the firewall. Then ill go from there and see if any relays or direct connection to the battery is needed. Anyone with any input please chime in. If you have the oem fogs installed and have a chance to see how theyre wire in the engine bay thatd be awesome

This actually is the fog light wire harness, I apologize as i hadn't been in my CL in a while, the right side is for the fog light harnesses and the 97's are prewired for fogs. Sorry for the confusion, I picked up a 97 accord fog light switch from the honda parts dept and plugged it in on the right side to the wire pictured.
