My small update with pics...
Finally got the rails/brackets/side mounts on the seat.
Took out the power steering reserviour and lines (just need to reloop the rack and unbolt the power steering pump.)
As you can see, no more horn for me.
Finally got the tranny off.
This is a pic of my hood with the metal I cut off so that it can finally close all the way and stop hitting my manifold.
This is the piece I cut off (weighed 5 lbs)
So by the end of this weekend this beast should be up and running again.

I wasn't sure if I would have had the same issue with a CF hood or not. You see, the inside of the hood was banging against my intake manifold because it was literally sitting on it. So I was afraid of it cracking it and have been wanting to cut it off. If the CF hood had the same shit on it, I think I'd be scared to mess that hood up then the one I have now.

I bought the half shaft, but I havent bought the axle yet. It's an item I can get in 2 days at my local parts store for $65. So I'll just pick one of those up this week.
As for the clutch/PP. It's the oem one. This is my first time doing a clutch change by myself (i've done about 13 of them with a friend). So if I mess up, I rather it be on this setup since it was only like $330. The other setup I want is $1600. So as you can see, that's soemthing you really want to make sure you dont screw up. I'm not using the PP alingment tool that they require, so this experiment is just, well, just that. From my understanding you can go without the tool, but at a much slower rate. And I'm in no hurry.

i know this look isnt that favorable, but you should have jacked up the rear of the hood with spacers and extended bolts like i did. you wouldnt have had to cut up your hood
nice work though man, i love your car.

You should have seen how small of a piece I needed. All just to get some darn clearance. I want to reweld it back on in a different way so that I will always have the clearance I need to do this though. Going to play with the metal once everything is back in.

There's a thread over it in the Meet section. We're all trying to get as many people in as we can, but the price is undetermined since they dont have a full list yet of the people whom are willing to put down the mulla. If that falls through, we can find our own nice place. (I rather stay out of the ghetto since we'd be def targets, you know).
