My CL Won't Start!

I was doing some work on my 1999 3.0 CL today. I removed a system that I had in there and some fog lights. I disconnected the battery to remove the foglights. I took a break for a couple hours and then when I hooked up the battery again, the car wouldn't start! What gives? The first couple of times when I tried to crank it, I just heard a "click." Now, I hear nothing! The interior lights come on, but when I try to start the car, nothing happens...the dash lights just barely come on.

Did I screw something up? What could have happened? I don't see how the battery just drained like that. Please help with any advice!

I plan on trying to jump start the car tomorrow, or getting Acura TLC to come by and start it up.

Make sure the terminals on the battery are clean and that there's a good connection. You can try one of those battery post cleaners with the wire bristles.

It could be a broken battery cable, too. That just happened to my Rodeo. It acted like a dead battery and wouldn't start unless jumped. When I tried to charge the battery, it wouldn't draw any juice. Turned out my neg cable needed replacing.

i will almost guarentee your connections are not tight enough or there's corrosion on them. clean and re-tighten -if the lights come on it is a sign that there IS a connection but when you crank your engine there are too many amps to pull through the bad connection (surface area) so if you clean and tighten i think it will fix your prob (-:
