my car's a$$ is up in the air :D
Well im stuck, I have the rear of the car up in the air. I got the front installed this moring before i went to work, but tried doing the rear when i came back i could not get them done. Im having problems getting the bottom bolt to go through the nut in the strut. it goes in fine throught he two first wholes but it wont line up with the nut on the strut. I spent two hours on one side trying to get it to fit did you have the same problem? any tips or suggestions? My car is with the ass up in the air and i need to fix it by 10 am tomorrow so i can get to work. please help me out.

impact wrench does wonders. make sure the all wholes line up before putting it in (top two and bottom) then i just used a hammer to pound it in since the bolt has some what of a cone shaped tip, it centers itself then us and impact wrench if you got one. well thats what i did

Good tip is to remember what position the strut top was in versus the part that bolts on to the lower arm of the car. So, when you put the strut back on, everything lines right up. If it is off a little, you can twist it a bit. If it is way off, you have to loosen the strut top and turn it to the point it lines up.
As for your bolts, try pushing up or down on your rotor. More than likely the bolt is angled going up. There should be enough room to fit your head in there to see the point of the bolt.

dont you have to thread it once its about to get to the nut? or can i just pound it in? I also tried standing on the rotor and my dad and a friend tried lining up the whole for an hour but still could not get it.
Should i put the top on first or the bottom?

I tried installing the stock springs. I ran into too many problems, i could not get the shocks and the springs from the passanger side wheel perfectly streight. The head of the shocks where the springs are compressed in. When I did that it ways looked slanted? Does anyone know why this kept happening and do you think my springs might pop out be cause I left it like that?

it goes throught the first whole in the strut, then throught the bushing, but it was not linning up on the other side. I spent 6 hours all together just trying to line them up. the second whole was a 1/8 of an inch higher than the center of the bolt. But that is all history now, i finally got that sucker to go through the car looks a million times better and im glad i did it my self. Thats the best 12 hours i have spent ( did most of it in 7 hours, but spent 5 trying to get this nut straight

I installed h&r sports 1.75f and 1.5 rears, but the rear is almost tucking since it threw all the tools, jack and two stands in the trunk because i was running late for work
