i was at the alignment shop today in city of industry. i was getting my camber kits put in. to do that they have to drive it into one of those pits with the two beams, so they can work under the car. from under there they can jack up the car also. well the guy jacking up my car fucks up and my car sways to the right and falls into the pit. i was SO SO HEATED! there goes both custom side skirts and paint, BIG DEEP scratches on my left rim, scratches on my hood, and a dent on my front bumper. even my license plate got fucked up. i was just mad. sorry i'm just venting guys.

by the way who ever wants to get in the carbon fiber hood GB i'm down cause i'll need one asap.

That sucks, I use bear frame and wheel on Arrow in West Covina, they bent my control arms for me when my camber was crazy out of whack. Good shop, shame what happened

 

Im always afarid shops like that are gonna jack somethin up....tomorrow i have to take mine to a Tires Plus to get an Alignment, Rotation and Balance...lasttime they jacked up my rims...im almost worried they will do somethin again this time...from now on, im stayin there while the work on my car...and im keepin my camera in hand....

(the thing that pisses me off is they jack with my stereo, fuck with my TV & DVD and everything...i dont trust shops anymore....I know someday im gonna leave the shop and my TV's not gonna pop out or anything....)

Rule of thumb....when they turn the keys over to u, spend a good 15 min going over your WHOLE car looking for anything...inside and out...thats what i do now because once you leave the parkinglot, they can claim its not their fault...

Yea definately make sure someone inspects the frame to make sure there is no damage. Sucks this happened.

In all honesty, i can see how you can get angry about this and just sort of take it calmly and not make a big deal about it, but in these instances a sue is the best thing to do other than just get your money back. You can get a good settlement and the whole process is faster than you think. Small claims court will rule in your favor and you may be able to get more money than just the repairs. This is the most logical thing to do instead of just going directly to the company or shop that did this because of course they are going to pay for the damage but you want to be incontrol of that money and you dont want this to happen to anyone else there as well. THis way a sue will ensure quality there on after for sure. Ive done this before and its worked very well.
