i swear it does, ive had my CL for one year, ive replaced the altenator, 4 sets of headlights, the tranny, a set of tail lights, and have 2 of the stock speakers blown.
ive been in 4 different fender benders, gotten 2 speeding tickets, and the little door thingy under my radio is broken the spring is messed up or something... my lighter stopped working too! and im venting on ACL forums....

just ordered my nokya artic whites, lost another silverstar tonight... piece of crap.. i paid like 27.99 shipped off of sportcompactonly.com maybe these will last longer than 2 months.

It doesn't hate you hun, it's just breakin you in for the years to come...muhahahaha

 

How many miles are on it. If it has reached 100,000 than it is time for some TLC. Any car is going to brake down if it is not cared for. Fender benders can cause hidden electrical issues. If you have had a hit on a quarter panel or fender, you might check to be sure you aren''t shorting out something and wasting your lights in the process. As for the alternator and belts, well that is normal for any Honda/Acura. Speeding tickets, that ain't the car's fault. I've been stopped twice in the Mistress. Got tickets both times too. No biggies, just 7-10mph over posted, but I think that is because I speed and cops spot attractive cars faster than ugly plain ones.

it is hard to remember my car is 10 years old. 1 hit in the front passenger side, 1 hit passenger side rear bumper and 1 hit my liscense plate, none of em even dented, just scratched up my paint

the second i hit 130,000 miles instantly my tranny went, i have 131,000 on it now

 

worst part is i still owe 7000 on it.

hmmm, that sucks really bad hun. worst thing that's ever happened to me was some bitch hit me w/ her jeep door and said "oh, that probably hurt you worse than it hurt me" and walked away. it took all i had not to jump on her and take her down.

but i put in an oem sylvania bulb tonight, and not 20 minutes later it was blown... sooo gotta get her checked out tomarrow

 

havnt had her back for a week from the tranny job and already going back in to see the car doctor.

i dont touch em. i made sure of it, i know that the oil on my fingers makes em blow out quicker

Ill let you guys know friday night if my car hates me or not. The steering is whack. Acura sent me an ad for a free 45 point inspection of the steering/suspension. Its in lew of their 20th anniversary.

If there is a buttload wrong, the CL is gone.

 

did you try to wipe them down with alcohol? I do it just in case

Also check your fuse box in the motor and under the steering colmn...make sure everything is legit...or make sure no fuse is blown...

because there is no reason why if there is an electrical issue your headlight bulbs will blow up first before your fuses....but just my

i checked the fuses that say lights... all seem good.

 

but after looking closer at the latest oem bulb i tried, it doesnt even look like its blown, all the little wires seem to be still in tact inside it.

 

 

I just did this...
1. Small crack in windshield (there when I bought the car)
2. Two small dents on RR quarter panel (door dings from work and Wal-Mart)
3. Drive belts show small cracks. (brand new belts in the trunk, gonna put them on when I get my next oil change)

No other issues.

 

have you checked your headlight for cracks. When i first got my cl there was a crack on my housing that use to make my bulbs go out all the time.

 

Yes, if moisture is getting in, that could cause the failure... But you said that the side markers were blowing too yes? It sounds like an over-amp of the lighting circuit.
