Take a bottle of cologne and pour it all over the floor mats. I had a bottle of curve in my car and it leaked and my car smelt like that for over a month lol.

How long have u let it run? Is this the first time you've run it?

Sometimes it can smell if it hasn't been on for a long time, like over the winter. Try running it for a while.

Had this problem, ignore all the other stupid remarks lol. But check to see if you car is draining the AC water correctly. There is a tube under the car, near the middle close to where the engine area starts and where the shifter is kind near. You will see it, spray with compress air. You might get a shower, it holds a lot of water if it is stuck. Do not get confused with the sunroof drain hose near it closer to the door. Then run the AC full blast and spray a baterial odor killer like lysol air santizer or something into the air intake vent. That is near the windsheild wipers on the outside of the car. It looks like some grills, you open hood to see. Run the AC some more full blast and then spray. Wait a while and do it again. Your car should smell fresher after the Lysol smell goes away.

Dude mine used to do that too.

All you need to do is start turning the AC off before you turm the car off. Also turn the circulate button off before you turn the car off. That will take care of it.

This is what I did about a year ago to my car and the smell went away. I also used a soft metal hanger (that's bendable) and poked it lightly through the tube. If you poke too hard, you might end up puncturing the tube, so be careful. It also helps if you bend the hanger a bit to follow the path of the tube (which goes to the floor under the glove box).

I found that tube, it's the black one right? I poked through it with a wire hanger and nothing came out. I sprayed Lysol through the A/C intake and it fixed the problem for a while, but the smell is comin back. I haven't been usin the A/C a lot, but I haven't been seein any water draining.

baka_t: sup with that ozium you were talkin bout?

If there is no water draining, something is wrong. Here's a link to what the ozium bottle looks like. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/hydropon...0larisair.html

Yeah, some Lysol and running the A/C at full blast should help. I've done this for a couple of old cars and it worked.
