just recently when i put my a/c on it smelled like complete shit. so i turned it off and opened the vents and it STILL smelled so now im guessing that there is shit (literlaly) in my a/c ducts.

take it to the dealer and ask them to sanitise it
they have a special spray which kills all the bacteria buildup in the lines from condensation
or get a long thin hose and put it down your center and side vents. spray lysol air sanitiser and let it sit there. then turn on vent but make sure your windows are open. dont wana sufficate

i just did it and it works hella good made a pretty major difference. But i put it into every vent i could find and all the intakes aswell the one under the hood u gotta put hella in. Make sure to put some in the suction tube behind the glovebox which btw 98 3.0cl dont have an in cabin air filter, just a opening that has mechanical open shut door that correlates with the circulate air buton. Make sure to get it into the vents under the seats as well as the vents on either side of the centerconsole and in the window in front for defrosting. I used like half a bottle almost and after running the ac 10 min on both internal circulate and outside air it smells alot better and theres less shit that comes out of the vents right when i turn it on before i used to get dirt flying out.

Well I went to the store to get a new air filter and while waiting in line i saw this can sitting there basically it was lysol in a wd-40 can. lol.
They said blast that stuff in every vent first like all the one in the car such as under seats like foot rest and the normal one too with like 2 sprays of the stuff each.
then like half the can in the the outside air vent while fans on high outside air.
Then the rest is in the in cabin air vent with inside air on full. Make sure to take off filters if you have them mine didnt.
