The CL has no MAF sensor, it uses the manifold pressure/vacuum (MAP sensor, manifold absolute pressure) and manifold air temperature (MAT or IAT depending who you talk to) and through the use of the ideal gas law you can derive density. Since the volume does change and you know density, the load can be determined and the needed fuel can be calculated.

and for a short answer there is no hookup for the maf sensor. our cars dont have one. go for the ebay intake, but make sure you spray it with k&n oil..

Nothing really, you'll just wear out your crappy ebay cotton filter quicker, the K&N oil makes more dirt and stuff stick to it

i had a crappy ebay intake for 2 years and never had a problem with it. i cleaned the filter every 2 mos or so.. with the k&n recharge kit, and off i went. every time i cleaned it, it looked brand new. and yes you use the soap it comes with then water out of the hose. gluck pimp.

i plan to buy an ebay cold air intake for my tl-s as soon as i get back from this airshow trip to spangalam, germany.

How'd you get the filter out on the 3.0? Did you take the inner fenderwell off each time? I tried gettin my k&n up through the hole, with no luck. Didn't feel like takin the fenderwell off at the time, so i just hooked it back up.

i take mine off through the bottom flap
theres a little clip that connects it to the bumper, and it just pulls right off.

it is there to piss you off and cause you several hours of confusion. Its useless as far as im aware, go buy some vacuum caps for a handful of change and stick it on there. GL

autozone, advance, any autoparts store. I think the "nipple" is 1mm, so get caps closest to 1mm that you can find, preferably no bigger than 1mm, but smaller is okay.
