No party. Was almost a funeral, but for some damn reason I ain't giving up lol. Car is still in my possession, in pieces. Had it back together, low oil pressure. Then crank bearing issues. Then crack in the BUILT block. Seems like I can't win, smh.

 

Just gonna update this for my own purposes lol. Block is at Golden Eagle, and fortunately it's fixable. So there's hope once again. But I just bought a house, had a baby, got a car for wife and baby, and bought a ton of parts for my BMW so who knows where this build will end up.

I still own this car FYI. And it's still in pieces lol. Crazy to think how long I've been trying to get this thing together.

In good news, CP finally shipped me the right pistons this time, yayyy! Only took 3 tries and 5 months! lol.

I have no clue why I won't just let this thing die and move on lol.

Amazing that the dream is still going strong.

Took my 1G out a few weeks back & that car gets me everytime, shame it never gets driven.

 

Haven't really driven it that much because I'm paranoid, but I'm not gonna lie I was totally cheesing ear to ear when she stayed running lol.

Sad to report this car is no more . After getting jerked around numerous times, I sold the car and the proceeds went into turbo charging my E36 M3.





Now that I'm financially stable again and this M3 only requires some minor revisions, I'd like to find another good 2.3 CL to AWD/K swap since I'm good friend with the premier shop that creates Honda AWD kits. They seem pretty scarce nowadays though, so if anyone sees a clean one for sale please DM me!
