nice start

I'm not really feeling the totally blacked out grille though....since you can still make out the center emblem. I'd say either shave the middle bar or sand off the black paint on the emblem and re-introduce it. The black just stands out too much especially since you dont have any other black parts in the front (like a black aftermarket lip or cf hood)

you mean if you cut out the middle bar completely? cuz as it is right now, the regular mesh that's already on there does the job just fine...

oh, I think I see what you mean

you just wanted to shave out the emblem but keep the center bar in-tact?

If so, you're gonna have to dremel out the emblem piece, and then fiberglass/bondo the resulting gap. It's really easy (just takes time since you're a beginner). Just use some thin cardboard as a backing and lay the fiberglass over it....let that dry...sand....fill in with bondo and keep sanding/reapplying bondo until flat. Then as a final step, fill in any remaining little pits with spot putty.

Primer...paint. Wallah.

On your car I'd go with the clear. Clears look really sharp on white CL's.
They look fantastic on my iced teal.

I like the shoulder pads, I have those too, with white a's but that steering wheel cover it obnoxious, get something more reserved.

(very old pic)

IMHO, I think you should leave the front emblem chrome. I don't like it when members paint it black along with the grille. It just doesn't blend in well.
