no, i didn't put new panels and clips. Some of them panels were removed because of small dents and such. But not all. the car painted, but there is finishing work to do. There is a lot of small details that i told the guy to fix. I payed 3.500$ for the job, buts thats including a new windshield, rust repair (cut and weld) and removing and replace back windshield. I am not taking the car back until it is perfect...

3500? wow yeah it better look mint.

How long has the car been there? THats what i hate you leave it for them to take care of it but always take longer and then the work is not good. SO you have to be stern and all,

Good luck man

its been a little more than a month an a half. The thing is, its a good 40 minuts from my house, so i go there 2 times a week, to check up and take some pictures. I allready paid 2000$, and will not pay the rest until the car is mint. I just hope ill get it back before the summer ends... :-)

lol, it hasn't been buffed and waxed yet, sitting under the snow for now. Everytime i was free, my friend wasn't. Waiting for the right time :P. I can take the pics of her outside under the snow :P

It cost me 3000$ but the insurance paid 1000$. It came out at 2000$ including a new windshield and install

I dug up some old pics that i took right after it came out of the paintbooth. Took some more yesterday, we had icy rain... so:

I took those pics after the 1st time it came out of the booth. He didn't fix all the small details... so i took some masking tape, and taped everything that i didn't like about the paint job. He ended up respraying several parts of the car.. lol

And this is my Beater. I rebuilt the engine last summer, and the body is really clean for a 1992, but GOD DAMN is it slow... 1.5L

I can't wait for summer. I took it out for a ride yesterday night after a month sitting on the driveway... Obviously i had to boost it, so i open my hood and connect the booster pack... Alarm goes on full blast! And i can't shut it off because i have my remote starter controller!! So i had to run around the house looking for the original remote for a good 5 minutes while the alarm was yelling like crazy at midnight!

But then i had a nice slow drive until everything was warmed up (it was -10 outside) and then i did some Italian tune-ups on the highway.. ooo i miss it so much!
