I have a Pro1 Topspeed muffler. It's not too loud, a really deep sound. I have 2.5" piping about half way to the cat.

I have an Arospeed DTM, dont get it if you dont want some thing that is loud. It is a realy low rumble and idle, then i just gets louder-but not higher.

I got a Hayame Type 2 Muffler...Good rumble in idle...gets loudest when it hits around 2000-3000K and settles down on the noise once vtec engages. Pretty good for travelling cause it doesn't get annoying...Just enough to get noticed.

Next Question. Bolt on or weld on? Which is the best one to do?

Also can I just cut the pipe to just install a muffler?

Installing a muffler is usualy something to take too a muffler shop, because it has to be welded on and they have to weld hangers to the muffler can, unless it is a cat back system which is bolted in and comes with hangers on it. For mine they had to put in different piping from the axel back so it would line up properly.

Ok guys do you have a preference over dtm mufflers or the single ones?

I need to see some pics of your cars.

Brospeed...... is that a good one to buy for low noise?

Anyone know anything about the mugen mufflers i am under the imression that they are quiter and produce good numbers
i am talking about the one that loops the exhoust around init the back out and it supposidly creates great back pressure and speeds up the velocity by this creating more power than a straight though muffler
