DC Sport Header?

For what I have been finding most 94-97 (2.2L) Accord parts fit on my 98 2.3L CL. I have a bid on a DC Sport header and I crossed referenced with some other makes, since nobody (DC Sport, Greddy, Neuspeed) nows which year fits my car, a 97 or 98 Accord header. The heads and gaskets are the same, but the O2 sensor is on the front of the manifold on a 97 and my 98 is on the underneath of it. Does anyone have a DC Sport header on a 98 2.3L CL or know if it will be a pain to get the sensors to work properly. Thanks

You need to get the dc sport header for a '97 EX Accord, perfect fit on any 4 cylinder CL.

yo either one will work. ifu dont want to remove ur o2 sensor then get a 97 cord ex header. the 98+ header extends longer and will replace the small section of pipe between the stock header and cat that had the 02 in it currently. its about a 6 " length of pipe. listen as long as u get it for a I4 cord ull be fine 94-97 or even the 98 header

'97 header replaces that little piece of piping you are talking about. If you get the '98 header it will be way to long and you will have to modify your exhaust in order to make it fit. The '98 accord header will not fit.

VXCL I don't have a DC sports header I have an OBX header and I would imagine that they are all the same. I have the '97 accord header on my car. It is a perfect fit going from the engine block right to my OBX racing catalytic convertor. Some people I know have tried the '98 accord headers on the CL and its been to long going past the cat. By any chance did you get the dc sport header made for the '97 EX accord? The ex has vtec just like our cars so it would be the best fit. I think everyone on this board that has headers has gotten the one for the '97 accord.
Are you sure the '98 header is a better fit than the '97?
