Sup guys.........i have a prob. with my cl

when i accelarate it sounds like i have an aftrmrkt. exhaust!....and i dont.

anyone have any idea what is the problm. with my exhaust?


and how much would it cost to fix?

and if i do have to fix....should i just buy an aftermrket exhaust instead of oem replacement parts?

could be a leak somewhere, take it to an exhaust shop and see what they say

 

you probably just have a small hole somewhere. a muffler shop will be able to patch it up

no fuckin idea, but it might be you c pipe...

 

The b pipe is the section behind the cat, and before the rear section with the muffeler.

 

If your refering to the pipe with the S bend and the resonator i have always known it as a mid-pipe. However, i know everyone has different terminology.

 

hmm.. weird. It looks like in that pic the mid-pipe nad hte axle-back pipe have the same diameter. The pipes on my car look like the mid pipe is thicker than the axle-back. I'll take a pic tommorow to show you, and maybe someone can tell me if thats stock or not.

Mid pipe commonly refered to as; as the honda tech's will commonly refer to it as the b pipe.

 

Hey guys i took my car to minekee, and they had parts i needed.

Same as an accord, so they quoted me at $371.00 dollars to replace the pipe and the muffler

and they repalced some gaskets and also they removed my heat shield.

They car is back to smooth operation

plus i got more power. The pipe was completely rusted out.....it was soundin' real ghetto.

the pipe actually detached ........it was so rusted.....jus broke in half.


ps.

now i can hear my cold air intake again

 

$371??? you could almost gotten an performance exhaust for just a lil more!!!

that is exactly how much my custom 2.25 inch mandrel bent piping and magnaflow muffler and resonator cost! lol
