Does anyone have MSD ignition on there 3.0???? If so what was the exact name of the system.

u guys dont have a distributor do u? i know the 2nd gen doesnt. i fu do then just get a 6 series. u have packs though so i think u need the dis 6 or something like that. just call msd they will help you.

I just check mine's : MSD Ignition Boost Timing Master (blue color) part # 5462

 

All CLs have the distributor J30s. The 98/99 Accords do as well. The 00-02 Accords have the DIS like the 2nd gen CL. It's been said the DIS J30s only show half the gains the distrubuted versions too.

 

acura4ever, could u tell a gain in HP with the MSD?

 

You shouldn't notice hp increase with this item. I buy it because I'll go to FI

I see a smoother shitfing and pull harder to the red line. Easy to install.

Milage can increase but didn't see a difference really.

 

that prob means there were some gains, the butt dyno doesn't feel all. Comptech got like 11whp from an ignition I think.

 

maybe proaudio22 but I didn't dyno my car so I cannot respond to that (dyno and feeling is 2 things) :-P
