You don't need anything higher than a 6A series. The 6AL just adds a rev limiter, but your ECU already has one. The 7 and ups are just overkill. The last time I checked (at least 5 years ago), they were going for around $165 for the 6A I think.

I'm just gonna add an MSD Blaster coil with some better wires. screw the whole ignition, i've heard too many bad stories about them in daily drivers.

You gotta get a new distributor cap to run an external coil (not even sure if it'll work as a stand alone).

If your gonna do that might as well go with the electronics that go with it.

Get an Accel instead :P

Nah, were lucky on the V6's... we have external coils!!

I'm not looking to race my car, I just want a little more power and better gas mileage if I can get it. I can get the coil for like $30 then a new set of wires for like $50-$80, with my bosch platinum4 plugs, that should be all I need.

THOSE BOSCH PLATINUM PLUS 4 PLUGS ARE SWEET A LITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT I SAW MORE POWER AND BETTER GAS MILEAGE WITH THEM I WAS A LITTLE UPSET WHEN I HAD TO PULL THEM OUT AND REPLACE THEM WITH THE ZEX PLUGS I DONT THINK THEY ARE THAT GOOD FOR NORMAL STREET USE.

Why would your hand be resting on the swaybar while you're working on something in the engine compartment???

Platinum plugs are more expensive and don't conduct as well (and consequently make less power than) as copper plugs. The only advantage to platinum is that you replace them once at 60k mi instead of 15k mi... that and the bling bling.
