i just bought a 98 3.0 cl, and im new to everything dealing w/ modifications on cars. What are ways i could add hp to my car, and make it faster. Is there a chip made for the 98 3.0 cl, or does anyone have any other recommendations, any info is appreciated. thanks

okay, let me step in here since i've been around the longest :P
best bang for the buck
OBX Headers for the v6 accord, they require an exhaust shop to bend them about 1/4" to fit our car but they give nearly 20 HP to the wheels with torque to match for about 400$
next would be a Cold Air Intake, good for about 4-5HP, and will run you anywhere from 100-200$
An exhaust won't give you much power unless you have pretty much maxed out the other mods.
You can go further into looking to get new pulleys and such, but I wouldn't bother until you do headers and the intake.

I've always wondered where the hell the weight of our cl's come from.
I've seen aluminum headers online, aluminum cat back systems, and aluminum pulleys online. Let's say the most we can add is 30-40 HP max with mods. Is there someway to lose some serious weight without doing serious work?
I've also seen aluminum shocks and springs. Aluminum cylinder heads might not be hard to come by for our vehicles.
I personally think with the mods mentioned here, and a little work to lose some weight in our cars, we might be able to hit 60 in less than 24 hours.
I'm 99% cetain there's been a thread about losing weight in our cars. I'm pretty sure I've seen it, so L.Banks, check it out. It might be pretty neat to do some mods, lose some serious weight (2-300 pounds).
Aren't our engines supposed to be aluminum though? I've heard the pulleys, cylinder heads, and exhaust systems were not...am I wrong?
