Marcus and Art are great guys... Art's 2nd gen is gorgeous especially in person and Marcus's car is coming along great. I didn't get a shot of the front end but the smoked corners really look good with the red paint.

yeah u guys are super 4x4'in lol. lookin good tho. I think you should get the honeycomb cut out of your rear lip and get it redone.

 

Both lips will be getting molded on once the car is painted

yeah he definitely looks like hes almost tucking tire. im sure his car looks great in person because his first gen looked great when he had it.

 

yea i've seen his car before, its gorgeous. u 2 are def 4x4'in tho. If you guys are like that at the all PA meet, i'm gonna bring a tent to pitch in 1 of ur wheel wells in case in rains that we can all chill under lol

 

That was the funniest thing I've read on here in a LONG time. If it works out, I'll have a set of Sportlines on there before the meet in June.

You guys were right. The first gen side of this forum is much "nicer" than the guys over at the second gen side. I know by saying that, that I will be shunned from there LOL but oh well. I guess its all because I went from a first gen to a second gen or something but either way, thanks guys. But you have to give credit to the guys i met with today. Their cars are looking great too. They are modding them with class and not rice. The one thing that will make these 2 stand out more is a drop of some kind. Its all a matter of time and money.

I mean hell, I wanted to drop my teal first gen when I put on my painted stockies but never got around to it. Now she has a new owner and he looks to be taking good care of her so yeah...

I know they are not sharp but my battery in my camera was low and when that happens it catches focus but its not sharp at all...

 

I'm looking at getting these wheels, 17s, after the drop. I really like my wheels, but they're still 16s and they started to pit already. n00b question, will bigger wheels make a modest drop look more extreme or a modest drop look like stock? Also with thicker tires (45-55), will it raise the car or bring the tire closer to the fender? Should I go with something thinner (35-40)?



They're the Evo 5 style, but they don't make the Evo 5 in black unfortunately, so this is the next best thing IMO.

As for the tires, bigger rims with moderately thin or stretched tires would look good with a drop, as it would fill the wheel well more, but it will raise the car a little higher being that you went from 16's to 17's. If u have less tire on the 17's than u did on the 16's the difference between the two will be less.

Or, I could change the theme of the car and go with these for $10 more per wheel... I saw them on a new Civic in white and they looked really good.

why did you pull the suspension off subbuzz's CL? and the rims? or is that your 98 with the lips and visors? wtf is going on?

 

im pretty sure thats his 98 and he just pulled parts off the 97.
