Keyless Entry Question

Is there any way to make the remote open both doors with one press of the unlock button?

Having to press the button twice when i want to open passenger side as well is annoying me.

I guess so. Mine you have to double click and you have to wait awhile before you click again... kinda annoying but w/e.

its one click for both on mine. . . but theres two technicalities on that, 1) im all aftermarket now (just had that damn stock one bypassed) and 2) the passenger actuator is just about dead itll only engage 1 out of every 50 or so clicks

but im with the 2nd gen dude, its not that much effort since your finger is already there

I was thinking about it..people text using their thumbs alllll the time, esp the younger crowd.. so whats the difference. although..itd be nice to know if there was something you could do to program the remote to open both doors..

i press the button a billion times anyways to make sure its unlocked, not a problem for me. if youre concerned on the fact of knowing if its unlocked or not, just arm the alarm, hold the lock and trunk release button and the red light should blink.

yeah, but hearing it beep lets you know if its locked or unlocked if you arent looking, so its pretty handy. at least for me.

Now that i think about it, my 98 had shaved doors so it was idividual buttons for each door to open, and my 99 has an aftermarket viper alarm so thats y it's 1 click.
