MANY Pics of NEW Lighting Scheme, -plus- Other assorted Pics . . .56K BEWARE!!!
New Bulbs:
CHAMPS Amber LED 194 (upper and lower corners)
MTEC 3300K Ion Yellow H3 (fog lights)
Comments: The LEDs look a little too red for me. I hope this doesn't attract the popo. Also, I wanted yellow bulbs for my fogs, but I didn't want them too yellow like the Lexus fogs. These are a little to pale for my tastes.
I'll give them a try for a while.
BTW: My camera sucks!
I already had the 194s installed before taking a pic of the package!
Here's my Amber 7440 (non-LED) turn signal for comparison.
2 1/2 year old indiglo gauges.
I love my new head unit!

Yeah, it's a lot of colors.
The corners are NOT red, but Amber. However, they look more reddish (the camera makes them look very red) than I'd like. The 8th pic probably represents the true color (this one):
The problem with HIDs is that there's no bulbs that will match them (194s and H3s).
I had PIAA bulbs (which came the closest), but they still looked yellow when compared to the HIDs.
I'll try to get a better camera for more accurate pics.

Episode II... I like hte head unit to much colors going on. But if you had just red and hit I think it would look real nice and it isn't very ordinary good choice... nice.

Thanks, everyone for your feedback.
Overall, I must admit that I don't like the lights. I think I was trying to convince myself to like them
Scott's suggestion that I take daytime pics clinched my decision. I removed the LEDs.
Even during the daylight, the LEDs look red! :thumbsdn:
I don't need ANY more problems with the police! So, I put the PIAA 194s back in.
The biggest turn off was the base color of the LEDs. They're ORANGE! This looks like shit when looking at the corners while the lights are off.
I'm keeping the Ion Yellow fog lights right now. The main reason I went to all of this trouble was that one of my PIAA H3 bulbs blew about 3 weeks ago. So, all I have right now are these Yellow ones. I definitely want yellow bulbs for the fog lights, but I may get a brighter yellow. These bulbs look to much like regular Halogen H3s.

Bright as hell. I'm sure they bother oncoming traffic more than with projectors because the beam is much more spread out than with a projector.
There's no comparison with any Xenon type bulb. The HIDs are much brighter, have better color, and look way cool!
I just ordered some "bright" white LEDs for the corners. I'll give them a try.

I was looking into some yellow ones for the turn sigs and parking lights (7440 & 168/194) at autodynamic, but they are always out of stock.

I got the 194s from autodynamic.com. Yeah, the 7440s are ALWAYS out of stock!

I think I'm gonna spring for the PIAA Ion Crystal (yellow) fog lights (H3).
I'm going to try out the "white" LED corner bulbs (194) that I ordered. If they suck, then I'm going for the "regular" amber 194s for the corners.
SHIT!!!!
All this hassle, just to accomodate my fucking HIDs!

ya i went through all that too, don't buy any LED's i had the super whites, and they went out, the color didn't match, no bulbs really matched for me, so what i did was just not use the side bulbs on the main headlight, i have the piaa ion fogs, their not as IS300 like as you would think, they're yellow, with some odd hue of green? i think that's the bulb, but majority of it is yellow, i was thinking about trying the raybrig yellows after this pair of piaa's

I'll install them on Thursday, and take pics, Thursday night.
If they suck; I'm gonna install pink fucking bulbs all over my car!

matching is hard to do...i recommend taking out the top 168 bulbs, and putting amber 168's on the bottom, it looks badass with just parking lights
my hid's just got jacked up too, my driver side has a different color then my passenger side, does this mean the bulb is about to die? does anyone know if i can purchase some kind of OEM bulbs with a 9006 base somehow and ignite it with my current hella ballasts?
