40th anniversary, not too shabby, and it's a nice red, you really seem to like the reds. That stang is clean for having 71K miles on it. Can't wait to see what you do to it.

oh shit. I remember an older member picking up a Stang and there must have been a page of different possible acronyms of how crappy Ford is. I LOLd.

Then he totaled it.

no it really probably was. one thing i love is coming up on some guy that thinks hes cool cause of a mustang, but he gets blown away becasue its the v6. they are slower than snails.

i worked v6 mustangs in my integra, and continue to do it in my cl.

No offense to the OP though, just stating my experiences. Your mustang is clean as hell and you're not interested in racing so it doesn't matter how fast it is. I hope u can save this one from hail though!

The bullet rims are nice looking. I'd look for some used ones as they did come with some of the stangs.

Don't let it get to you. The fastest v6 stang runs a 9.85 @ 138mph.

The fastest 1st gen, well........we're still stuck in the 13's, lol.

As of now, you seem to have more potential then us,

Everyone's e-dick is so big as far as racing, I don't race anyone, I'd rather have them pass me and break their neck looking back at my car. I didn't even race when I had a Trans Am

Well there is a 10 sec sohc f series, but in a hatchback. But untill we see a company or well off person go balls out with one of our cars, all we can do is go by what we all have done. And as of now, we're stuck in the 13's.

Mustangs are just considered more muscle cars by many is the thing CLs are luxury coups and are by no means "fast". I was at a new years party last year and people were ragging on some kid because he bought a V6 stang.

The car does look clean though and outta last you until you you're rdy for something else.

the 2.2 CL is rated at 8.9 to 60 mph. faster than a V6 mustang. they're slow. end of story.

nice pickup, have fun with it. at least it can drift, unlike FWD hondas
