i noticed that the maintenence light was orange today so i got an oil change. that wasnt the problem. now the light is slowly turning red. what is the problem???

 

orange!...now red!....the problem is serious!

just kidding....is not a real sensor or anything.....it turns orange after 7500 miles or so....

just a way acura can make you visit them more often....and get a check up...

just insert your key into the maintenance slot to reset it to green.

so is the maintenence slot in the middle of the speedo and rpm gauge?

when i went to handa to change tranny fluid...they checked my car for me...washed and vacuumed....need new cv boot both outter..oip pan gasket...and so on...

 

i never knew there knew there was a maintinance slot on the dash

update: just went to my car and put the key in the whole and it turned off

mine went from orange to red right at 100,000K. pretty obvious...
