whats the most miles you guys have gotten on a tank of gas? i have a 2.3 with 5 spd. and last week i got 430, my best ever. when i filled up it took about 14.2 gallons and it was extremely low and i filled it till the gas was almost spilling out. so 430 miles on 14.2 gallons is just over 30 mpg average, i thought that was pretty damn good.
my 430 miles is with out my V2 intake... after i install it today and fill up again... im gonna try to beat 430.... i have read reviews that some are getting 3 more miles per gallon... if thats the case i should get about 40 more miles per tank~ 470/ tank that would be sweet who needs a faggy honda insight !?!?

I average 20 mpg (mixed highway/city/nitrous). That's 340 per tank.
I can get up to 26 mpg on the highway (440 per tank).
My "best" highway run (fully modded--including spraying about 1/3 bottle) was 27.5 mpg . . . that's 465 per tank): http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...h+carolina+gas
Bone stock, I was getting between 26-28 mpg.

i have an auto 2.2, bone stock. i got 38 mpg once, 'cause i got stuck doing about 40 mph on the ohio turnpike (several accidents and a fuckload of po-lice)
typically i get about 27 or 28 mpg, and that's with typical 80+ mph driving and occaisional red-linings.

Thread From the Dead for the Day.
I bring this up because i have been getting horrible mileage ever since i put my car
back on the road (garaged for 2 yrs). Since its been back on the road, i gave her
a new battery, a new alternator, new plugs/wires/cap/rotor. Keep in mind i also
have a huge box in the trunk. Do ya'll think it has to do with my subwoofers/enclosure?
could this have to do with anything electric or is this clearly my intake manifold
or something mechanical going on inside the engine?

427 is my highest...worked out to almost exactly 32mpg. and that was with a roof rack and bike, a full trunk, some stuff in back, and a passenger, doing about 75 on the highway. '97 2.2, closing in on 130k miles with a Prokit and Koni yellows.
best ever was 39 highway...construction on the ohio turnpike kept me under 40 for nearly 2 hours.
typically get about 25 or so city, 32 highway. nice part is though that it's about 10 miles round trip to work, so i only have to gas up once every 3 weeks. oh, and gas is only like $1.75 in b-more.

37 mpg driving from Ohio to Maryland. Turbo/Hondata/5th gear kicks ass. Usually for around town im in the 24mpg range which is what I was getting before the turbo, except now I have to use 93+ octane.
i get between 20 and 24 w/ my 3.0 auto.
haven't calculated highway mileage yet.
and yes, tires CAN effect your gas mileage if they're soft. if you don't have enough air in them, your car has to work harder to get them to move.... i wouldn't doubt it if the same happened with tires with actual soft rubber.

I can get about 450 on 14 gals. If you use lucas fule system cleaner occasionaly and be sura your plugs are gapped right or just new. I have about two years on my plugs and the gap was streched out. so check it out. also use ngk plugs. shit like split fire messes up your mpg. What type of gass is every body using? I use 91 octaine.
Well I've definitely been getting less than 20 mpg lately. Maybe it's because I use the A/C full time now since it's summer here in Phoenix. But I know I was getting about 26-28 mpg with the super bald michelins that were on there before.
