Whats up

Im in need of some new tints and was wondering if anyone had it done recently and how much?

I would have to take off the old tint and put new tint on.

i got mine done last week, cost me $216 with 5% rear and rear quarter and front strip, and 20% sides and sunroof, and yes the old tint will need to come off, but i advise letting the tint shop do it, i might cost a little more but its hard to take tint off the rear window and not destroy the defroster lines.

 

I live in an area where cops are anal about pulling people over for tint, I got all my windows done with 35% and it looks pretty good. I will be getting it re-done with 20% all around at some point since it's not my daily driver anymore, but depends on how dark you're trying to go. Don't plan to pay more then like $300 for tint. Def let the shop take off the old tint

 

That's another thing I'm adding to my list, hah. Like said before, just let the shop handle taking it off. It'll probably cost you a little over $200.

 

man 200 for tints? But I have to do them they have scratches on the front windows. They are not dark at all.

I also don't want cops to pull me over either. WHat is a good percentage wise?

30-35% is good to not get pulled over with

 

umm i got a qoute from autobacs for 150+

 

I got a quote from a guy I know for 145 or less... and that is for 35 in the front and 25 in the back

 

$200 for 5% all around. Still looks good near 2 years later. Having straight cash sometimes helps the price. Taking the old tint off shouldn't be more than $50 max

lol it really depends on where your at it varies.......... 30-35 percent in kansas is 150 bucks all windows and lifetime warranty.

 

 

Remember, he needs to get his tint taken off too. So it's going to be a lot more than if someone were to just put tint on a new window. I got originally 30 in front, 25 in back. It was alright. Wasnt dark enough for me. I got another layer of 25 on the rear windshield. Next car I get is getting 20 all around with 5 in the back. I dont care where I live. Lighter tint sucks. 2 layers of 25 is dark as fook though. I got followed once so far.

man, around here you see g35s and chrystler 300s with not only 5% all around and tinted front windshields, but also full tinted tails and headlights, not to mention the 29billionKelvin hids, and you see them all day and night long. youre not likely to get pulled over just for that, you wont really stand out.

 

where can i find the legal tint for Cali? i wanna go limo 5% in the back and front wit like 20% or possibly lower

edit: i jus found out that the rear windows and rear windshield can be as dark as desired. but i cant find anythin on the front 2..? it says 70% but i kno for a fact my current tint in the front isnt 70. can any1 confirm or give me correct % for the front please. =)
