Cheapest Good drop

I did some searching for a cheap drop didnt get anywhere. i was wondering whats the best combo, for a good drop (Springs/shocks/camberkit) <--(thats everything right?) for a price around 500-650. i got some extra money and i really want to drop my whip.

ps: i spotted a very very clean cl today 200-325 in Vacaville,CA. it was slammed, debadged, and i think it had a custom dark grey(anthracite?) paint job. also had black rims with a chrome lip. it was parked near bj's.

Depends on how you want the car to ride, and how low you want to go

lol sorry bout the inches..i basicly want a <1 finger gap but i want to be able to raise it to a street legal hight if i need too... and im worried about those bushings... but its such a bitch to do that when i say replace all and bushings in the same sentence around any shop they all say "oh shit",(also its around 800+in labor) and i dont have the knowledge to do it my self.. so i may just start replacing them as they go out. dropping a car is so much damn trouble but man its worth it, cuz with out a drop.. you really cant do anything cosmetic-wise to a car with out it looking tacky

$800 labor? I went to a chassis shop and the guy charged me around $300 for ALL the bushings in the master kit, and if you want adjustability I'd get teins, d2's or ksports. But you need to learn that height adjustability is not cheap

i have the same setup, so of course they'll drop you as low as I am. Ive never gotten harass for having a "too low of a ride" and ive NEVER heard of anyone getting pulled over for JUST that. I get pulled over for fix it tickets all the time, but its for tints and no front plate

If you don't wanna creep over bumps then don't lower your car

Your garage. Swapping stock suspension with coilovers is easier than just doing the springs or shocks alone. So, with that said, doing all four coilovers, should only take about 30 minutes.

30 minutes i had all my bolts already broken. Was still a huge pain in the ass, maybe with air tools and a lift, course I was going from coils back to stock that was a huge bitch, took me 2 days

There is a diy here. This is what i used.

LoL. Takes me 30 minutes to install just coilovers. You guys suck. 3 bolts in the rear per side, and 6 in the front (3 of them being the ones up top) per side. Then again, I do have 4 jack stands and 2 jacks. I just throw the car up on the stands, and get to work. Like I said, 30 minutes is what it takes once the tires are off and the car is up on stands on all 4 corners. How the hell did it take you 2 days Chris? What went wrong?

wel thing is i dont have any stands short of a tire jack which definitly wont cut it. and i dont have a spring compresser. also dont have any experience. i know i can go rent/borrow the tools i needd but all i have ever done to any car is swap out a normal intke for a short ram. do you think me and my dad would be able to do this in a few hours (him not having much exp)?

u dont need a spring compressor if u buy full coilovers. Also, the honda jack would work because ur only doing one strut at a time.
