I found a 97 Cl 3.0 for 11 000$ cdn. with would be about 7000$ u.s. It has 200 000 kms with is about 124 000 miles. The mileage is high but the price is right. I just want to know if i should hold off and pay more for lower miles or if it shouldn't be a problem.

 

I'll sell you mine for $20,000.00 U.S with 82,000 miles but since my tranny is acting up I'll sell for $18,000.00 and you'll be the coolest guy in town!

 

I'd be concerned about the tranny with that kind of mileage.

Personally, I'd get a lower mileage car, even if it costs more. Or, get the car your interested in, and look to replace the tranny.

 

i think you are right, i am gonna hold off for lower mileage

 

OR you could get a 2.3 5 speed for less money and not have to worry about anything

Yeah the smooth 200 hp V6 in the 3.0s is the way to go!!

 

Unless you opt for the smooth shifting 2.2 or 2.3. Power isn'yt an issure if you mod the 2.2 a little.

 

that's a lot of miles, hold off. I just bought my 99 a month ago with only 34,800 miles on it.
