Long Time
Hey Guys, Its been a long long time sence Ive been on, but I was wondering if anyone knows the best place to get new head lights. Theres nothing I can do to save mine, they are totally gone, I wish ther was something i could do to kinda hide how bad they are for a while till I can get new ones. Unless theres somewhere to get a pair for a reasonable price.
and I also need a steering wheel, the leather is comein off mine!!
Thanks for any help

wet sand by hand using 1000+ grit sand paper til it looks white (not yellow at all) and then polish using plastic or metal polish, also by hand. what stuff did you put on there that melted the plastic?!

definitely run down to autozone and in or around the paint aisle there is sandpaper. most high grit will be for wetsanding, but check anyways to make sure. i suggest you start at 600 grit, do it by hand and take your time. mask off your paint around the lens cuz sandpaper is no friend to paint. keep the area nice and wet while you sand, i usually just leave the hose open on a low setting to keep a flow of water over the lens while i sand. 600 then 1000 and if you want a 1500 or 2000 after that. then use the polishing stuff (the one i like best is actually for polishing metal). btw, dont step up to the next grit sand paper til the lens feels totally smooth when your pass your fingers over it. it will look white and cloudy (but not yellow) cuz the sandpaper is sandpaper afterall, but it should be a kind of uniformly distributed whiteness, with only minor scratches visible. good luck and i hope it works out for you
