Yeah, it's quality stuff. Sticks right away so you can roll down the windows right after it's applied (instead of waiting a week like some other brands). It stays black for many years instead of turning purple as well.

I've heard it is good tint but i wouldnt recommend putting the windows down for atleast two days (unless it doesnt go on like traditional tint) after having it done.

My installer said they trained her to roll the windows up & down right after applying it to ensure that it sticks properly. I've also heard the same thing from other installers. I haven't had a problem and the tint's been on the WRX since April.

(This is with Llumar only, not regular tint)

Hmmm...I stand corrected. I have never heard of that but it sounds much better than not being able to open your windows for a few days which seems like months

HOLD ON!!!!

I used to work at a tint shop....

Llumar is the best film out there.... quality film that has various types and grades.... High Performce-HP ( platinum, Centaur, etc..) film has a lifetime manufacturer warranty along with whatever installation warranty there is.... The HP film does not fade, its part of garauntee, howver non-HP film will turn PURPLE in about 2-4 Years.. its a fact, dont argue it!!!!

as for rolling the windows down, its a suggested 4-day wait... i rolled mine at 2 days, if the tint shifts if its before the suggested days, you are fucked becuase most places wont cover it!!! tint is applied with soapy water, it needs time to cure!!!!

The place i got my tints done uses LLumar exclusively..it's good stuff, and be patient and wait at least 3 days..longer if the temp is cold..I waited 4 days and have never had a problem.

I have lumar on my car as well, but I heard 3M makes the best tint.
Not every place has it though, cause it's a little more expensive.
look into it if your interested.

I have had the 3M for awhile now and i am very happy with it. The only problem i have had is my friends snow board scratched it up but that was his fault not the tint. Other than that its great. It did end up costing me $20 more than the regular tint($140 total) but it was worth it. Oh came w/lifetime warranty too

3M is a great film.... but....
here is the insider of 3M vs. Llumar.. ready?!

Llumar has a patented clear adhesive taht is pressure sensitive... it dries absolutely 100% clear unless defective or tampered with....

3M purchases this glue from Llumar...

so whos better, the buyer or the supplier?! hehehehe
