i ordered and paid for my bumper lights on the 10th and they havent yet shipped them out cause of a wait period for some reason but they told me yesterdya that they shipped them and i got an email from them today and it went like this:

Dear customer,

Our apologies, but we just found out that the item 97-00 ACURA CL EURO
CLEAR FRONT BUMPER LIGHTS you ordered has a manufacturer's defect, and
it
will not fit properly. We were able to locate the package before it was
shipped out, so please disregard the tracking# received.

It will take about 2 to 3 weeks for the manufacturer to fix the
problem.

If you are willing to wait, you don't need to reply to this message.
Once
the item is being shipped to you, we will send you an email
confirmation
of the shipment with the tracking #.

If you prefer a full refund, we can do so, and once the item is in
stock,
we will notify you to see if you still want to make the purchase at the
same price.

When you reply, please click on the reply button (it will automatically
include the subject) so your response will be processed in a faster
manner.

i am so fucking pissed off and they keep on giving me the run around. all i want is my god damn lights so the car can look good. i am so fucking pissed off right now, to top it all off getting skrewed for my package with PRandoski and now this, man i have been having a bad week and to top it off i have been looking at the car revcently and i have noticed someone spitting on it. i found out it is an old roommate well you dont fuck around with the car now, my car is my baby and you dont fuck around when it comes to my cl. FUCK IM PISSED. well thanks for letting me vent. i hope they fix it so i can get my pair soon. :angry: :angry: :angry: all i want to do is puch the people out at Procarparts.com they will receive a proper ass whooping from me when i talk to them on the phone todya. well later guys and to top it all off i am getting the ignition recall done today. aint that the pits.

there are none available on ebay i just checked there is one but i dont see any others. i paid 46.75 for the ones from procarparts.com and now they say its going to take them 4-5 days before recievinga refund. i told them i want the refund overnighted to me and they said i would have to pay for it and bs like that or they said i cant wait the 2-3 weeks for it to come. ARRGGG this is such bullshit and im am gettin furious :angry::angry::angry:

they could have sent you the defected one and have u send it back making u more pissed than now. its not there fault the part was defected. they are doing the best they can do.

bullshit, well i got them convinced i was in the right and i am now getting my refund overnighted to my house. they said i would have it tomorrow afternoon sometime, atleast its better than 3-5 days. oh well.

The picture of the bezel I was buying back then has totally changed!!!!!

They must have gotten other complaints about that item because it now no longer looks ANYTHING like chrome like the original picture they had on there..........fockers

I've heard my share of proparts.com problems. I wouldnt buy from them. There is another website you can get them from. i'll look it up.

I also heard the (last generation) Integra's bumper lights fit 1st gen. CL's. You just need to turn em upside down and switch sides. anotherwards put the left on the right side and vice versa. When I did a visual comparison it looked ok but I never tried it.

I bought mine off eBay from procarparts.com about 2 months ago. I got them ok and they work fine (so far). Of course, what can go wrong? They're just housings...

Believe me, it's not that easy to do.. It's not that hard either. It's a lot of tedious work to do. Plus, the finished product does not fit like factory. It did the trick for me until the clear lenses actually came out.

I still have the teg' lenses I made the first time.

yeah so many people have bitched about procarparts, i only ever got one thing from them and that was my clear lenses. damn site sucks :thumbsdn:

Sorry to hear about your "unusual" e-mail. I was the winning bidder of clear corners sold by ProCarParts about a month ago. I knew that they would wait 10 days to ship because I paid with a personal check, and that was ok.

Well, 10 days was on the 13th, according to their e-mail confirming that my check would be deposited on the 3rd. And I waited until the 18th to write them to ask what the hell is going on. They replied on the 19th and said my corners would be shipped via UPS that day, and that I could expect delivery on the 29th. I ship crap for a living and no way UPS ground takes 10 frikin days on a package that size. Not to mention that the link to the UPS tracking said there was no record of my package.

Somebody is lying and I think you guys know who it is. I say we post a warning sticky or something to stop all persons who use this bulletin board from buying from those sacks of crap. Are you guys with me?

i GOT MY CLEARS FROM THEM OFF E-BAY AND THEY TOOK LIKE A MONTH TO GET. tHEY DON'T FIT QUITE AS GOOD AS THE ORANGE ONES BUT THE'YE CLOSE ENOUGH.

Guys... try www.autocarparts.com .... that's the site that is run by acura-tl.com. His prices may be slightly higher then others on that part... but his service is top notch....

There's no question autocarparts has a lot of good stuff on there and probably real good service.
But for us 1st gens they should cross reference more of the Accord stuff that fits on our cars so we don't have to look so hard for stuff for us. Especially if it's Acura owned.

Also, I would be willing to pay a little more for good products & fast service. But some things are a little more than steep.
For example, the clear corners that this topic was started on are a list price of $130 with their price of $75.68 + shipping
That's almost twice what I paid for mine.

The site seems more geared to the 2nd genCL/CL-S/TL/TL-S crowd.

I would love to support Tim from a-tl with one-stop shopping and get everything from him, but there are alot of other reputable places too with great prices if you look hard enough.
