Looks Good cant wait till you post the DIY, Cause' I'm a huge fan of the ION yellow fog lights off of the IS 300.

I might retro fit my roadlamps into those!

originally they came on the rx300 and used in thier main headlights as a daytime running light

I know cause I sold like 0 pairs of these last year and all of mine came off those

just FYI did you make a housing for the projector? you are running yellow halogen bulbs right? if so, those will get hot and may burn the plastic, just a thought I know they do get hot though

nice fog lights for a AUX light'

if you need any more parts let me know I have shit load more and I am getting rid of this stuff cheap

email me for stuff, rubber seals, bulbs, projectors, misc parts

thanks

Joe

it is WAY cheaper to buy a set of broken headlamps off a RX300 and pull out the fog lights they are the same ones, the IS300 they are asking way too much on ebay

look here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-L...37034658QQrdZ1
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-03...35867716QQrdZ1

top one is 10 bucks right now and its a full pair, you can see the fog lights in the picture

compare the prices to these is300 fogs
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lexus...spagenameZWDVW

66 bucks 11 bids and it will go for almost 100 bucks plus shipping

advice.......get the rx ones, get yellow bulbs and it will look clean and subtle, same output, nothing different, the clear lense actually puts off a cleaner, stonger cutoff, and if you want some more color out of it with regular bulbs let me know I can remember how to mod them with regular bulbs to get blues and oranges

just a thought on saving some $$$$$

me and slammed actually had a good long debate about that one while we were planning this out, since initially the idea was to put hids in the CC. while we figured it was not impossible to somehow get the projo behind the CC lens, it would require removing alot of the housing and would most likely melt and burn all the surrounding plastics, since these things burn so hot.

yup we were actually talking about it and close to do it but we were running out of time that day so yea..... pretty much ill just leave the fogs in the grill and custom put some 6500k hids in the CC and another set in of 6500k kaxien in the headlights and put my current HIDS in my fogs.

which fogs? if its the same noname cheapy ones i bought you will have to do a little modding to make them waterproof/sturdier, not to mention they dont really have a full cutoff shield so i had to make a pair of those too (real simple, just added aluminum foil to the bracket thats in there). if you want to keep them halogen then they should pretty much come with all the wiring you will need. and an ugly switch. you just have to hook up stuff as it says in the lil paper that comes with, or if you want custom wiring instructions let me know lol.
