LED Resistors

for those of you with LED turn signals, what kind of resistors are you using with the bulbs to avoid fast blinking? i guess more specifically, what ohm are you using?

depends on how many leds are on each of the bulbs. i would take a multimeter and measure the current draw at 12 volts on one bulb in order to calculate the value for the additional resistor.

I tried it with resistors I got off of ebay. It worked the first time but when I tried it again it blew the fuse. Any thoughts/suggestions?

you need a load resistor which is different than your standard resistor.

Different than my standard resistor as in...? I have an 18 LED bulb and bought a 6ohm resistor. I read in one of the threads when I searched for this to get the 6ohm 50watt that's why I chose them.

Alright, I blew yet another fuse in my second attempt. I guess I am still unclear as to what needs to be done or the type of resistors I need. Any advice?
