Im dead serious... il even through down $ to make it all happen. Just fill me in on EVERY detail so i have good backing, then, we'll go down there and ill claim the car is being sponsored by my small buisness, and that the $ is out of my wallet, and that UnitedRC ( my actual company ) wants it done ASAP. Then, ill open my mouth more and start getting angry tell them they need to finish it, and finish it right or im pullin the plug and they wont get any money. They'll also get a nice sepina from our lawyers for negligence and some other legalities ( i just happen to take law as well )

UPDATE: not done...lol. But on a more serious note, Aidan says it will be done within 3 weeks this time. And when he begins to work on my car again, he's going to call me to come in and give him a hand. I told him I'd work for free just to help him out, and for the experience. We'll see what happens...

I can only stay positive about thi whole situation, hoping the outcome pays off...

I start Monday on the car with Aidan, sweetness....

I ordered and picked up the last few parts I needed. Brake pedal, clutch pedal, clutch master cylinder, and some brackets for the front and rear engine mounts. I will keep you guys updated as I work on the car with him. I'm really glad I'm going to be able to help personally with this swap. I can use some more experience. And then I could really help out the next person whom attempts this swap.

J35 6 speed with 125 shot of nitrous and 100 octane is on it's way guys...

Update with the EM2. We got the car to crank over, but just needed some o2 sensors to keep her running. My friend thought everything was ordered for the swap, but you know how it is. But the car will be up and running tomorrow. Hopefully my car will be done at the end of next week so we can have a sick mini SoCal meet with my friends and our cars. Again, I'll keep you guys posted on both swaps.

With a reflashed type R ecu that lets it redline to 8900 rpms.....watching the needle in the em2 is going to be sick since it goes to 8500, lol.

Update: We just got a call from the shop right after I finished typing what I had just said. The EM2 is up and running. They used the old o2 sensors from teh d series, and cut the wired from the actual plug, and hardwired it straight to the ecu. Funny thing is, my friend told them to do that while we were at the shop with 4 of my friends. I had a friend that did it to his IS300.

We get it at our local 76 station at the pump. I'm out in SoCal right now. I have heard of Tx having it at certain gas stations as well. Havent lived out there with my car yet to have a chance to go out and look for one. Plus, against a Type S RSX, you're going to lose no matter what. Now, I know everyone says, it all depends on the driver, but there is no chance in hell with this one. My friend had one, and back when I had al the bolt ons for the 3.0 and had it tuned, I still lost to him by well over 2 cars. Plus, 100 octane won't do you any good NA unless you have a high compression engine. Ours are 9.6 If you had nitrous, then it'd be a different story. If you go with higher octane then your suppose to in our cars, you will lose power. The ecu will retard the timing to compensate for the higher octane resulting in less power, and worse gas mileage. Stick with 87 if you run him.

Hey, i have a question for you all. First, will Race gas ( 100 octane ) give me a noticible boost in power ? Were can we get it in TX ?


Second, im getting flat black slips, and im having my skirts painted semi matt with a slight flake ( black ) with ww lip. will this look ok ? Keep in mind the whole interior is Gloss black, seats are black, the wheel i have is black, dam motor will be blakc soon.

LMK on the race gas, some kid in a rsx-s with exhaust wants to run me and i need all the help i can get with this mid to low 14 car No n20

Your best bet (best bang for the buck) is to invest in a nitrous system. It is the cheapest and extremely noticable modification (that you can recognize) you can do to your motor.

You'll only need race (high octane) gas to seek maximum performance out of your FI or heavily built NA setup.

And the car will not run mid to low 14's with basic bolts (not including nitrous). You'll need more than just I/H/E/P. If it was a basic RSX, then you'd have a chance. But the K20A2 just pulls like hell in the high rpms. The only way to win, is to hope for driver error.

hell yeah the rsx-s pulls hard, my cousin has one and its fast, i think they run like 14.2 stock, also the rsx is soo small and light.
