I'm going to hijack my own thread to just talk about our experience at and to the track. Well, as I said previously, we were heading out with about 8 cars. An old friend from our Diamond Bar days was also enlisted to run at Big Willow. Well he has a 700whp Skyline (R32) that he had detuned. It was roughly over 800 before. The R33 was trailored there. Anyways, as we are all cruising on the freeway at around 11ish to our hotel, this Ferrari F360 pulls up to each of us trying to play with us. I was in one of the Evo's and my friend and I just stared at the car's exotic's beauty. Amazing car. Well, once it hit up the R32, we couldnt help but laugh and yell. We were hoping our friend would run his R32 against the F360. And they did. That R32 pulled on his ass soo hard, the run was over in one gear it seemed. He had about 4-5 cars on that Ferrari in a matter of seconds. We were all hauling ass behind to get the sweet site of this. After that, we all laughed our asses off when we saw the look on the guy's face. They ran again and same thing happened. Damn, that is deffinetly one of those things you have to see in person.

Anyways, here are some pics at the track. My friend loaded them on his myspace, and I really dont want to go through the hasttle of trying to load them on here. So here's his site: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...3-2c6c58276132

The cars that we went with were: R32, R33, 2 Evo's, S2K, Audi TT, WRX, New SI, and the SRT-4 blew his motor on the way to the track.

It was one of those things that just stunned us. We didnt even think about it till moments later. Only videos we have are short clips of my friends on the track. Plus, we ended up having to switch freeways and went a seperate way after the Ferrari kill. I think we switched over to the 14 or the 114. I forget...my memory sucks that bad.

I'm just going to take mine off and paint them myself. Not very hard, just a few bolts and hoses to unplug. Thanks for the heads up though.

Sure would be nice if the C-series valvetrain bolted up to the J-series...

wow, i just realized my typo after that long. you thought i meant "NSX" when i really meant the MDX plastic cover. well if that fits then you should consider using that.

I just called the shop cause you guys got me curious as to where the project was at. Nothing has changed the past 2-3 weeks. I'm not in a hurry anymore, they did say it'd be done by August or sometime during August in time for me to go back to school in Dallas, and I trust them. Either way, I'm working my ass off to save the money I'll be owing once the car is done. So the lil more time, the better.

Oh and btw, once it's done, I'll be sure not to tell anyone on here

I talked to them CL SleePer, and they said they won't make them again. They said for one of the mounts they had to tap into the tranny to make the mount. Only way to replicate it again would be to take my tranny out and remake it. That goes for one of the custom mounts btw. Not the rest. They just dont want to deal with it at this time, it's just too time consuming. Sorry...

Best bet is to take your car with the parts to a really good shop, they can make em for you without a problem, just so long as they know what they are doing.
