I have the kumho's on my CL. They are not the stickyest tires out there but they have good bang for the buck. They've last me a while so they seem to have good tread wear. They perform fine in the rain as well. I have no idea how they would do in snow, since I've never even seen snow in person:P.
If you plan on racing alot or going to the track I would get something better.

My thoughts on my Kumho's:
1. Great tire for the price
2. Quiet - as quiet as my stock tires
3. Look nice - nice tread design
4. Have handled well in the rain
I don't race my CL so I can't really speak on stickiness and hard cornering, but for my daily driving they have been great.
Once again.....it's hard to beat the price

Those are the exact tire I have, and I'm very pleased so far!

I've had them on for less than 2000 miles, but they've performed very well.

I'd say "go for it"!

I was second guessing buying Kuhmo's but now that I have them I love them. Great in the rain. They are jst as good as Toyo Proxes FZ4's that I had on my last car. You should be able to pick up 225/40/18 for about 125 a tire

Thanks, but I live in Canada and the damn exchange kills me!!! That place would cost me at least $150 canadian plus any shipping costs plus installation and balancing plus they are "on order" and i'm going to get my rims on Friday!!! (i can't wait)

Does any think a 225/45/17 would fit...some people say it will rub, others say it will be perfect.

I have 225/40/18 and they fit fine, even with my Pro-Kit drop.

I have them and I think they are a good value. Good for everyday driving, did decently when I autocrossed, but what impressed me was when I did my last autoX run in about an inch of water everywhere and the tires held up great! Was real surprised to find that their wet traction is pretty good.

ive had these tires on since 9-8-01 at 67,000 miles and now i have over 94,000 and they only have a little tread on them, so i need to get new ones soon. bought them for 74 a piece....online...

i thought these tires would have lasted longer...i rotate them every 5000 miles. starting to squeak around turns now...and pretty slippery in the rain.

one thing i have heard though is that once the kuhmo's start t go THEY GO! I love em and would just buy another pair when they do go. I shank on these things and they run great and have lasted a lifetime so far in my eyes.

Woah! I was wondering the same thing (check out my posting). I've read all the reviews on this tire on TireRack.com...everyone has good things to say about it. I can't decide between it and the Nitto NT-555. I like the tread pattern on the Nitto's and because it's supposed to have the "widest contact patch."

I am running that exact tire. I drive hard and have worn a lot of tread off of them. They have performed pretty well, but they do tend to slide a little in wet weather. I thought that center channel would push water away, but I guess not. In the summer they are great. I would say at the price they are, you will not beable to find too many other tires that can match it's performance.

I had those Kuhmos... I took my car in at 6k miles to get them balanced and they were bald... If you get those don't do any tire spinning or they will go real fast! But Discount Tire gave me a deal on some new tires and rims, so it came out to be good anyways.
