KSport Comparison

How does KSport compare to other coilover systems. I'm someone who knows nothing, interested in lowering my CL though don't want to buy equipement I may later regret. Help me out and let me know what good and not. Who is using what?

They're pretty stiff compared to stock, they have adjustable dampening, but are still pretty stiff from all the reviews i've read.

stiff as heck.

going from tein basics to these, @ the moment they're @ the softest dampening, but that doesn't change the fact that the spring rates are @ 13/7.

Tein basic spring rates are something like 7/4, so you can imagine how much softer stock suspension is.

With that, it rides fine on smooth roads; really f'd up bumps and big dips on the freeway, and your lighter passengers will go airborne sometimes.

i hardly ever notice it anymore (it's fun to me); but i tend to scream out DIP whenever i know people are going to pop up out of the seat for a sec

yes but you can get custom spring rates for them. If this Gb goes through then my springs will be 11/6 instead of 13/7.

Thanks for your help, what would you recommend I go with. Part of me wants to put air suspension, though I could only do that when my wife is preg, she would go nuts if she saw how much money it will cost, so what are my other chioces and how much money am I looking at?
Thanks

In that case, I'd get coils cuz air ride will cost you mucho denaro. If you're gonna be driving a baby in the CL, I wouldn't get ksports, cuz that baby's brain will be scrambled riding in the backseat from bumps in the road

If I go with a custom set up, matching springs with shock, then what should I do. This might sound crazy, though I checked with sears to have them install iench (SP) and when it came down to installing them, they told me that sears policy is not to go to low. They would sell the springs, though would not stall them.

The car is just a toy for the weekends, we have two other to drive the babby around.
