Just wanna _itch for a minute

So I finally got my black headlights off e-bay(a little to expensive, but they look great!) Anyways, I dont know whats worse...front bumper removal/installation or the crappy rotor design on my 97' cl. It took me 6 hours to do this by myself...and some busted knuckles...lol. I also bought some nice fog lights to install but broke one when putting into the bumper grill...ahhh! Oh well...thats the story of my life...lol. Ok..now i feel better.
P.S. I did get the free tune-up/oil change yesterday at my dealer so that was a puls I guess.....

somebody bought the headlights? PICS! and you managed to get the hub off on your own? You have to take the hub off to swap the lights?

def post pics.

i need to replace my left side headlight due to a crack and the ones on ebay are around $130 each. The blackhoused pairs are around $180 so I was thinking of just getting those but I want to be sure they don't look like ass.

Dude, for real. HOLY SHIT!
Those 2 stationary front bolts where the bumper rests on till you press up, its gotta match with those stationary corner bolts where you press the corner in on both sides while lifting up and hope it catches right. I had to take the bumper on and off at least like, 6 times. My Mexican friends where helping me with it so that was a problem... "Ah, don't worry about it homes! It looks good, just a little offset. you can barely notice that its not on all the way!"

i think they look just like regular blackhoused besides the corner signal, which isnt too bad. I'd get em as alternatives to my yellow headlights.

My car is dark green by the way....cypress or whatever.

Yeah but he'd have to remove the rear bumper again, and then remove the headlights, remove the lens, cut off the slits and then probably repaint the blackhoused part, and then reseal the lights, and align and put he bumber back on (Sorry for the run on sentence but im too lazy to fix it). Im guessing he doesnt want to go though all this. He might as well of just blackhoused the oem lights if he wanted to do this.

kewl i get to be the 1st to comment on the pix!

those headlight assemblies actually don't look too bad, especially with your tints & tails.

i think its good

anyway to get some pix of them lit up at night (to show the corners)?

wait for others

yeah his cars actually able to pull em off. i think if the slits went with the body of the car a little better..i.e. if they were slanted up a little more, they'd be better, but they dont look too bad.

ill stick to my shiny-housing headlights with clear corners, but thats just me, maybe black house if I ever decide to retro, which might come soon, I just found a great deal on a ful set of BMW HIDs. . . 50 bucks, bulbs/ballast/ignitor, all genuine BMW OEM. . . that and a set of TSX projectors and im just about good to go

^Haha, I didn't even notice that spoiler at first. Doesn't look too bad. Which one is it? I've never seen it before.

Those headlights don't look too bad. I hate those corners, wtf were they thinking when they made those?

The lip spoiler was my own creation guys. One of the perks of working at a dealership is you can mess around with bunch of different parts. So, its my secret...lol Wish they made an actual lip spoiler for our cars!
