jsut dropped in my buddies short shifter hes has a 00 civic si ... and damn is it short ... gear throws feel like theres an inch between 1st and 2nd ... real quick ... it was easy to install he doest have the cable driven system like we do ... anyone here have on done for our rides???

Ive got the DC adapter on mine. It really makes a difference. I can actually feel the shift gates insted of just mushy shifting.

 

My friend put one on his Ford Escort GT and it feels really good. I want to put one one mine but don't know which one. I don't want the adapter I want the complete stick, Does anybody have any idea which one to get and where to get it cheap?

 

Don't think they make a complete stick for ours, or the accord. only the adapter, i got a dc sports adapter off ebay for pretty cheap though (around 50). If you really want a shorter stick you can take a hacksaw to it and rethread the shifter down more.

 

my buddy got it for 60 bucks on ebay .. a no name one but im mean its all the same thing... i dont think that just cutting it would give the exact same effect the big difference it the shift point that it pivots on is alot lower so it feels alot shorter than it actually is ..
