Just Got Car Back

Hey, I just got my car back from the shop today, and I had engine work done. Well they checked the tranny cause i just got this car recently. They diconnected the battery and now my radio needs a code. It says ERR-1, apparently you need a code to enter. Where do i find this code, I'm assuming I'll have to call the dealership with my VIN? Anyone else had this happen to them???Just need some help on this issue, im a new CL owner, less than a month. anything helps!!
thanks

same thing happened to me when i had to jump my battery. open your glove box. on the left outerside of the glovebox should be a sticker. i think its a 5 or 6 digit code. enter it in.

I think you give them the radio's serial and not the VIN. Search through the forums for an easier way to find the serial instead of paying the dealer almost $100 for them to take it out just to copy down the serial.
