some of you guys remember me.

anyways. school and work have been taking over my life and im at the point in school where ive been stressing out on choosing a major. which in turn hasn't left me much time to work on the cl other than an oil change and changing out my cv joints.

anyways. since ive bought the car back in '05 (completely stock) ive gotten the transmission comletely rebuilt back in summer '06. i added autozone "oem look" fog lights which ill be replacing soon.

near the end of last year ive finally lowered the car with accord eibach springs.

i tried to construct my own mugen style grill using the 3.0 grill but ive failed. thankfully greg was nice enough to let me borrow his billet grill for the time being.

but some bad news. ive recently got in a fender bender with some kid , no pictures of that, i dont want to talk about it.

now the good new is....

i got new wheels





17" RS Limted Ricochet's wrapped with Hankook Ventus 205/50/17's

the pictures don't do justice. but they look good in person.

the wheels were originally white in alright condition, light curb rash and paint chips. i sanded and cleaned them to perfection. murdered them out and got brand new tires for them. $175 for the rims. $15 for paint and supplies. $420 for tires mounted and balanced with lifetime of tire hazard warranty and balancing. if you were to look at these wheels up close you would think they are brand new.

anyways. in other good news. my search is over.

anyways. i probably wont be back for a little bit as school is kicking my ass.but this should hold you guys over.

Glad to see you're still around, I'm jealous you found that grill for so cheap I haven't looked lately, nice find. Def need to debadge those emblems on the back, and swap out those fogs, but car is lookin great, especially lovin those wheels

 

cant debadge it just yet, for some reason there is some serious paint chips that bother me so im gonna leave that for last. paint is the last thing on my list.

im working on lowering the car some more, but deciding on what i want to do. ill probably be paint the emblems flat black again for the time being.

omg, i was soooooo lucky on the grill, ive been watching it all week and hoping no one would find it. phew. anyways. heres a link to the outer ring for pretty damn cheap, i was gonna buy this if i didnt win the auction. it has about a day left. with some nice mesh and custom mounts it would be a nice replacement for a 3.0 grill.

ive been waiting for this grill for about 2 years. ive been lied to many times by junk yards saying they have the grill. after my long treks, its either broken or my same grill!

my current grill (thanks to greg) is pretty much rare as i barely see them on ebay at all and i think greg is the only cl owner who has this grill.

my stock grilled was destroyed by me.

 

I think I saw a billet grill for our CL for $189 starting bid on Ebay. I wouldn't pay that much for it!

its very hard to find these grilles to begin with, and this 1 is gold which is 100 times more rare.
theres hundreds of people on azine who would die for that gold grille

already done painting it. the gold wasnt as nice as you think, most of it was faded beyond good looking. like sections of it were turning chrome. id say about %50 in various spots on the grill.
