Well, this is the cheapest (new) CAI I've seen: procarparts.com.

I got mine off of eBay from an auction they ran. I think I paid less than $60.00 (plus shipping) for it.

Ebay has some nice cheap ones. Search under v6 accord since the '98+ accord are the ones that fit your car.

procarparts.com is currently "not a registered user" on eBay. You have to order from their site @ www.procarparts.com .

Try doing a search on eBay to find other sellers.

what brand of intake is this, does the brand of the intake matter much, like from procarpart's intake and maybe AEM's intake?

I don't think you can go wrong with an AEM CAI....you can check out www.groupbuycenter.com too for some group buy prices...i'm thinking about getting one off there for about $180 new (w/out bypass valve; non-polished) The V6 Accord goes for $190.

when it comes to intakes, one shiny metal tube is jsut as good as the next......

just keep in mind, the bigger a intake tube you have, the more pressure drop throught the course of the intake.

i have a generic one, and i have no complaints about the fit or performance of it.

anything is better than the stock airbox and piping combo.

Go cold air. Get nothing other than AEM.
