Intake Q's

Gah, finally decided to look up some intakes for the 3.0.....and since I'm a retard when it comes to the barnds, I want your opinion on some of the items.

1) BOMZ Racing Air Intake
2) Rapid Velocity performance chip
3) COSMO Racing C/A Intake

Thanks in advance for feedback =)

those brand are off ebay huh? Intake piping is intake piping, the only thing different is the filter that comes with it. unless ur talking about the AEM V2 that is totally different from all the other.

and dont buy that Rapid Velocity performance chip, its fake, there is no chip upgrade for our car.

all the ones you listed are ebay intakes. they are not AEM brand or Injen or any of the high priced intakes. lots of people have those ebay intakes, from what i learned is that they get the job done and they sound great. i have an ebay intake in my car and it sounds real good but then i bought an aem intake two weeks ago just cuz the parts are of higher quality. from my experience, the ebay intake is great if you dont want to spend atleast 175 for a good intake. oh and the 98-02 accord v6 fits the 3.0 cl so go with an accord intake. 50 bucks or 200 bucks? your choice

There is not really any difference between aem and an ebay intake, they're both aluminum tubes, the difference is in the filter. Trust me, I own 4 intakes

ill tell you how much gain your gonna gain between a v2 and an ebay one.
About a whopping 1-2 whole horsepower.

Say what you want, but the V2 is a higher quality product. They tell you that the engineering in the change of tube size in the V2 adds air flow. This certainly won't make a huge difference, but you're paying for the fact that you simply can't get that much airflow from any other intake.
VXCL seemed to think the V2 was significantly better if you check out this thread:
Aem V2 > Aem V1

How do you plan on beating Subbuzz without even an intake? Your intake had better be coming directly from some intercooler piping if you want to have a chance.

Silver, you know I'm rooting for the Canadian driving the 2.2, but you better have some tricks up the sleave if you plan on beating the modded 3.0.

Its a CL not a mustang. The only thing you are gonna notice from just an intake on the cl is the sound, a little better throttle responce, and better gas mileage...
