I just got my cold air installed on my 97 cl 3.0 and it makes this low constant buzzing sound that pretty loud and when i hit the gas it makes a blkow off valve sounding hissing sound and my friend says its not supposed to make those noises so i was wondering if u guys know ne thing about it

it supposed to sound like that. when it's in idle, you'll hear a lil hissing. when you give it some gas, the hissing gets louder. when you punch it, it growls.

 

yeah but if he's hearing the idle noise when he's punching it then his shit needs checked

 

no i dont mean when im punching it chinismos got it. but is there a way to lose the loud ass buzzing sound cuz now i cant even sneak in at night or sneak out cuz you can hear it inside the house

 

it's really not that loud. you'll get used to it. if you're wondering how loud it really is, just have a buddy stand outside and roll up to him. i bet you that he won't even hear it

sure if u can make the damn buzzing sound go away...i think its the filter against the inside of the fender or sumthin
