Installing sub to stock deck??????

Well my sub is installed but it makes a loud humming sound when i turn off the radio/or engine. it gets pretty annoying sometime. anybody know why or how to get rid of it???
since i have a stock deck, i spiced up the rear speaker wires which then connects to a rca converter. i heard without the rca converter it makes this noise because of high frequency instead of low. But in my case, i have a converter but it still makes the humming. Any suggestion Please!!!!!!!

how is your amp turned on? where did you connect the RMT wire...if you amp is still on after the sound is off..it will do this.....just connect it to the RMT wire in the Bose amp or buy a switch

Mine did the same thing until I got an aftermarket deck. However, I do not have bose in my car so I dont know if that would affect it. I suggest as soon as you get the money buy an aftermarket deck. They sound so much better with the woofers!! Hope you get this taken care of, I know how much of a pain it is. If you dont get it fixed, just turn the gain down on your control before you turn the car off, that helped for me. Once again, hope it gets fixed!!

If your getting engine noise I feel sorry for you the only way you can avoid that with is a engine noise reducer. Good Luck!

there should never be an unreslovable ground problem, a ground loop isolator is a quick fix that may be helpful though

thanx for info guys

yeah this humming noise really gets annoying, especially when you have a 2002 acura cl. such a nice car and yet it has this minor but loud problem. yeah thanx liloj, i found the amp and sliced up the blue wire, assuming its the right one, and the results is close to perfect. the noise is reduce to a small, unnoticable noise. well i guess its better than nothing right. oh yeah, (hobo), my ground is connected to a metal frame in the trunk. ground might not be the problem.
